Miguel Gonzalez

Miguel Gonzalez

Miguel Gonzalez started skateboarding at the age of 9 in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Skateboarding quickly led to the underground art of graffitti. At the age of 11 his family emmigrated to the United States and settled in Chattanooga, TN. After over a decade of doing graffitti he decided to try a different approach to art and began taking some art classes with the professor Alex Loza at Loza Studio and Atelier of Figurative Art.

In 2012 Miguel began a tattoo apprenticeship at Evermore Galleries under senior artists Shane Hartline and Skip Cisto. His tattooing is influenced by Mr. Cartoon, Chuey Quintanar, Antonio Mejia, Goethe Silva, Pedro Alvarez, and many others. He specializes in all types of lettering and realistic black and gray.

With a love of all types of art; he always returns to his roots of graffitti and Mexican culture artwork.
